Alex Lake Zürich is situated on the western shore of the iconic lake Zürich, it has a unique position sitting on the water’s edge; making it one of the most stylish and elegant Lake Zürich hotels. As a part of The Living Circle – a hand-picked group of first-class hotels, restaurants and even own farms in incomparably beautiful locations the topic of sustainability is therefore of great importance to us.
For us at the Alex Lake Zürich, it is all about taking into account and harmonizing the needs and concerns of people, the environment and the economy in equal measure. Sustainability is a process - a long road that we will certainly take. Compliance with legal requirements is not enough for us; we want to set an example and exceed it. We summarize our efforts in our sustainability mission statement.

Plastic neutral
Thanks to a cooperation with CleanHub, The Living Circle is "plastic neutral." The hotels have systematically reduced single-use plastic. Where it is not substitutable, the single-use plastic is compensated through the cooperation with CleanHub.

No Food Waste
Thanks to the bio-tran system in the kitchen of our hotels, environmentally friendly energy is generated from our preparation and food waste. Strict waste separation and thus the correct recycling of waste is also a matter of course for us. Nespresso pods are collected and returned.
